Chugging Along

Another month has slowly flown passed. I find myself in a series of phases. This month it was reading and thus my house it a little dirtier, because last month I was in a cleaning phase.

Our second set of tests for the year is next week, so I will be observing tests, then grading, and finally calculating the semester grades. All by hand.......yippee. Teaching is definately easier this year. Lesson plans do not take me as long, but I sometimes wonder if this is because I have become lazier.

I am only at post for nine more days and then I head out on vacation the 13th of February. I am going to Niger again, this time to see the vast desert, ride a camel, and see the villages of my fellow DPU grad PCVs in Niger.

Alrighty.....wish me luck.

It definitely is NOT because you are lazier. Lesson plans are just easier when you have already taught the material. Even if you decide to take a totally different approach, having done it before just makes it flow more easily. You also don't have to write as much down because more and more of your routine is in your head. It's called EXPERIENCE! Have a great time in Niger and think ITALY, just like Aeneas on his way to founding Rome. The time this year will just fly by.

Annie, I got a call from Allie tonight (Feb. 12), who just wanted to know how you are and wants to say hi. She doesn't have access to a computer, so she can't post on this site. I told her you were doing wonderfully!
