Meetings galore
Published on January 22, 2006 By Beninian Annie In Misc
I have oficially set a new record for meetings in one weekend. I think there were six in one day. Of all the days of boredom pleasantly spent in my hammock reading, it is quite a shock to be thrust into such a crazy environment. I think this is my new goal, somehow find this happy medium between not getting stressed out, be relaxed, but yet getting a lot done. I have seen people do such things, so I know that it is possible.

Tests for the end of the semester are in two weeks. Then, I go on vacation February 15th. Then, Benin election time. AKA PC Vols are confined to our posts for the month of March. Things should be peaceful, but it is just a good precaution. For some reason though, it sounds so long. I havent been in Badjoude for a month straight yet, so it should be interesting, but I am a little worried I will go nuts.

Alrighty......oh.....how can I forget................Happy Birthday UNCLE!!!!!

Be in contact again the first weekend in February.

Hi Annie,

It's so nice to read your articles and updates. It sounds like you had a great time with your brothers and Dad. We had a lovely lunch with your Uncle Tony [Andy] over Christmas.
Happy New Year and all that good 'stuff'.!

Peace,
Mary Pat and John Fontana

Now I know why there are so many camels in Africa. Because there are so many meetings! Sorry, it's late. Everybody is excited about the prospect of going to Italy next Christmas, and I am going to send you a Breast Cancer armband courtesy of Tom. I will check into the possibility of getting a Driver's license for you next December, but maybe you can also check and see if it is possible to get an International Driver's license while you are in Benin. There has to be a way this can be done; you certainly aren't the first Corps member who ever took a vacation! I'll check the web for Benin elction stories in March; say hello to everyone in Badjoude, particularly Mr. Major!
Love,
Dad
