Well.....

I am full beyound belief. I had three pieces of pumpkin pie and all the stuffing I could ever want with really really good mashed potatoes. It does not get any easier having holidays away from friends and family, but we made our own little party here in Nattitingou. There were 19 of us all eating together and although a turkey was not found, three pheasants did the trick.

Things went well at post this last two weeks. The traveling sensabilization for Female Empowerment Vicotry Way came and taked to my classes. The wo speakers did an exvellent job of motivating the students and I think they got the massage - to keep girls in school. It is hard here for the female students. Anyhow, this has led to my next project. A World AIDS Weekend to celebrate World AIDS Day. I wrote a grant and we are going to rent out the Video Club and show a video before the doctor speaks to the youths of the village. Afterwards the schools Theatre Group who also did an excellent job zith a presentation for Victory Way will perform.

Believe it or not it is test time. Students will take their tests December 13th to 16th. They I am on break. I will head to Parakou, the regional capital to grade papers and do some paperwork before returning to village to finish the school building project. All it needs is a coat of paint. The donors to the building were the San Francisco FOundation - so whoever knows that organization thank you very much.

Alrighty....love you all!
