First things first!!!!! Congrats Laura.....I wish you nothing but the best health and happiness.

I am writting right now with a little deja vu as I am using the same internet cafe as when I was a trainee. Things are going well and we have an extremely bright and fun group of new trainees. They ask intellegent questions, well for the part, and are very attentive even when I go on my soap box. I have given two model lessons already and yesterday we had a day trip to the beach at GrandPopo. Tomorrow is independence day in Benin, so there will be a parade. Finally, on Friday they will find out their posts. So, I think I got a good two weeks to work.

I know I am repeating myself, but it is just so neat to see them for they eyes of someone a year older. I guess it is a bit like when I was a RA. If anything they make miss and reminice about home as well as giving me the motivation to continue the projects I have started, because I realize in the grand scheme of things, I do not have that much time left.

Alrighty....bye for now.

PS Cristin; I could never be disappointed. You made a courageous decision to wait and something better will pop in your lap very soon;

Hi Annie! Just letting you know that Lauras wedding was great! She looked gorgeous and everything went as planned! The ceremony at St. James was perfect and the reception involved lots of drinking and dancing! Everyone had a great time! She is now off in Aruba relaxing! Talk to you later!

Hey Annie,
Tom and I are back from a great trip, visiting six of Ludwig's castles, taking cable cars up to the top of six mountains, cruising on two huge lakes, and introducing Tom to the greatness of German and Austrian beer. We will have much to tell when we get to Benin in December, which is the NEXT family trip!! It looks like Michele won't make it, though. I will let you know definitely the next time we speak on the phone. Take care!!
Love,
Dad
